Men's Doubles Round 4

Rd 4 last weekend had many twists and turns –and that was before a ball was even hit !

The team was due to play at home, but ultimately after some crystal ball gazing on Saturday morning, both teams choose to call it a wash-out by late morning.

Of course, the day then cleared up and it would have been a glorious afternoon, but it would have been a brave person to have predicted this earlier in the day. So basically we split the points from RD 4 with East Malvern Team no.2 without a ball hit.

This weekend there is NO tennis because of the Melbourne Cup long weekend. For those that want to practice, training will again be on Thursday night (whoever has the keys, please bring them along at 7.30pm).

As a preview – Rd 5 is being played 1pm on Saturday 6^th November. We are playing away against Patterson Lakes TC – Cnr Thompsons & Learmonth Rd’s in Patterson Lakers – approx 40 minute drive just off the Mornington Penninsula Freeway.

The team line-up for Rd 5 is Dean, Denis Victor and Alan – doubles combinations TBC.
