Men's Doubles Round 1 Results
Hi Team,
It was a tough 1st week encounter for the Albert Park Men’s doubles team against Parkdale TC last Saturday.
They had a very strong number 1 pair who ultimately were the difference. And while we equalled them on rubbers & sets, we lost the day based upon winning less games. Still, a great effort.
This week is round 2 and our team is playing at home from 1pm this Saturday against East Malvern no.1. The team is myself, Dennis, Yuri & Mark. I’ll be teaming up with Yuri and Dennis teaming up with Mark.
I’ll bring along the match balls, but all players please note – as it’s a home game, we are each required to bring along afternoon tea for our opponents. All support from spectators is of course most welcome!
Training is on this Thursday evening from 7.30pm as usual for those that can make it.
