Men's Doubles Round 3

A tough encounter last Saturday at the historical home of Australian tennis – “Kooyong Lawn TC”. Thank-you to Brian Berry who played as an emergency in place of Bruce.

Our boys fought hard but couldn’t post a win, so time for the team to get back onto the winners table for the upcoming Rd 4.

We are playing at home this Saturday 23^rd October from 1pm against East Malvern team no.2.

The team for this Saturday is Alan, Dennis, Nosti and Dean. (doubles combinations still TBC).

There are several new 4 ball cans of AO Wilson balls in the clubhouse storeroom cupboard and don’t forget that because it’s a home game, that you need to bring along some afternoon tea. I’ve left some scoresheets at the clubhouse too on top of the fridge.

The weather looks good for the weekend, so for the rest of the team – please come along to the club to support if you can.

I hope to see a few of you at training this Thursday night from 7.30pm.

Yuri will be there from 6pm if you want to have a hit before 7.30

Please note that for "the plate" some drinks and milk (for tea and coffee) as well as food would be prudent.
