Weather: good. Surprisingly so.

Opponents: Black Rockers: good guys; VERY impressive BBQ eaten way too early.
Match format: Home team pushed for best of three. Which, as things turned
out, was deeply ironic.
Playing: Nosti, Yuri, Bruce - "BRUCEY!!!", as Nosti is wont to call him when
excited, Forrest.

Result: Hmm, similar to last week. Them: 4 rubbers, 8 sets; Us: 0 rubbers,
0 sets.
Special praise for Bruce, filling in manfully and throwing himself around
court. And for Nosti, for sharing some of his tips on Greek cuisine. And
Yuri, for grace under pressure.
Forrest? Well he let loose with a dummy spit live on national TV in the post-match
interview. For those without cable TV, here is a transcript:

"Every season it's the #@%$ing same! We scratch around trying to get a #@$^!!!
team together in the early rounds when the points are the same as they are
at the end of the season. Those who look interested at the pointy end are
invisible when the caravan gets rolling. The usual suspects carry the load.
We obviously have some fair-dinkum opposition. It is embarrassing to have
scratch sides up against them... There is too much picking and choosing,
not enough commitment. And, frankly, I'm sick and &^%$!! tired of it and...."

At this point, Forrest knocked away the Fox Sports microphone and stormed
off.

Only slightly ruining his dramatic exit by tripping over his walking-frame
as he did so. Luckily, his guide-dog was still there to guide him home.
