Men's Penant Results Round 10

A very Rd 10 special weekend for the Albert Park Men’s Pennant team.

Forget Roger’s effort in London, in the cold and drizzle of the Eltham Tennis Club, Youth Rd Eltham last Saturday afternoon – Yuri Worontschak (aka The Ukrainian MASTER) recorded his first official match win”S” of the season.

This superlative effort spearheaded the team’s 4 – 0 drubbing of Eltham giving the team a valuable 14 points.

While the wet weather and Yuri’s GPS car navigation system were both against us, we still got there, so well done to everyone.

We now sit 4^th on the ladder. Approx 20 points clear of 5^th and only 1 point behind 3^rd place.

Onto Rd 11 this weekend. We are playing in the singles format again and our opponents are Glen Iris Valley. We are playing away at Glen Iris Valley TC, 260 High Street Rd, Mt.Waverley at 1pm on Saturday 11^th July. Red porous surface.
