Consider this. Our fine captain has already lost his racquet which fell from his motor bike. Now what are the odds of his new racquet falling out of the boot of a brand new BMW 3 series?
It happened! After a great deal of beeping Nils had to pick his racquet up from Nepean HW. It fell out of the boot!!!
Another grey day threatening rain and Alan/ Yuri and Sacha/Nils pair up.
Al/Yuri get a 10-3 win and the other court is vacant. Mentone have an injury and it’s all over. Reverse doubles are played and Sacha/Nils get bragging rights with a 10-2 route.
All in all a pretty pedestrian old afternoon. Nice guys, pies were hot and another 8 points in the bank.
Next week we play the top side and Nils is on the war path.
