Captains Log (week 4)

Captains Log

Well guys and gal, yesterday was a day full of events from Chorizo sausages to hairy tennis balls.

Unfortunately no Swedish backpackers were present in the park on the today but our Captain Neale was the first to retrieve any balls over the fence.

Facing off against tough opposition, the trump card was being used by Captain Neale Picard of the star ship enterprise star date 17062014 on a mission to the Gamma quadrant to study Kardasian tennis balls.....report as follows.

An away team was assembled consisting of:

1. New cadet Ben who recently graduated from the Roosters academy and was on his first mission to the park, pairing him up with Captain Picard as part of his induction.

2. #1 Commander Alan Riker along with Counsellor Nosti Troi of Betazoid

With 4 to beam down to the surface, Scottie energize........

Ben & Picard set up the tractor beams and isolated the polarisation of the induction coil by reconfiguring the warp drive to 80% efficiency. Scans showed the outcome of 10-4 to the enterprise. However at the change of courts the Kardasian presented their #1 peace treaty pairing to negotiate the treaty of justice.

Picard stood firm and demonstrated leadership to go ahead 4-2 in the reverse doubles only to realize that the Kardasians released their weapon which caught the enterprise by surprise.......the force fields were down and Picard noted........the balls were not hairy enough....the weapon was exposed.

By the time the enterprise raised their shields and go to red alert the Kardasian were in 10 forward shaking hands at the net with the results 10-9........revenge was complete.

Riker and Troi. Personal log.......if you are ever in doubt go down the middle! Vintage tennis by Riker echoed by the advice from semi retired admiral Dean Stewart from the planet Arion 4.
Riker played vintage stroke making like a bottle of Greek Retsina bottled in Sparta 1804. He could do nothing wrong...cross court, down the line, volleys......a masterful display of control and pro-es. With Captain Picard at the helm the pressure was off Riker to perform poetry in motion and close both matches 10-3, 10-3.

Excellent result on the day, finished off with Spanish Chorizo and snags on the BBQ. Well done to the team and thank you to all members who came down on the day to offer support and witness some of the best rallies.

The shot of the day went to Captain Picard with a majestic smash from the back of the court........the course was set – but where too Captain?

Many thanks to Ben who played fantastically well to carry Captain Picard......welcome to the farm.

Nosti out.
