I was TOLD not to mention any dodgy line calls.
I was told not to mention any controversy on match point
i was told not to mention the Greeks.
I was told not mention Yuris dodgy car ... (Imagine that, - a brand new BMW that breaks down at every set of lights) what a lemon.
I was told not to mention the rumour of Dean breaking up with Debbie.. ( I don't believe that one... and how could you say such a thing Yuri)
I was told not to mention people starting rumours.
I was told to talk about the tennis on Saturday and our wonderful victory.
I dont have all the facts but I will let you guys fill in the gaps.
We Played against Glen huntly. That is not one person. .it is in fact a team.
The opposition.
Hampster ????? .Tall guy , big serve, good backhand. wearing brightly coloured fluro shirt with matching Yuri styled Fluro tennis shoes.
Oliver. Good natured gent with dodgy knees and smokes a fag in between sets.
Brent. Tall dude..strange looking chap who hitches his pants right up under his chin on return of serve... ( makes it obvious way he dresses in the morning) puts you off I tell you.
(good tactic that... might mention that one to Mark)
Leon. The angry smurff who goes by the book. Solid steady player with limited communication skills.
Our scores were six - love. six - love ...or something like that.
and the return matches six - love six six - love and six six six six love ...or something like that.
They may have got a couple of games... ...or something like that.
Yuri and Nick played very well.
The simple instructions to Yuri.. " just get out of my way... I will hit everything"
"yuri - can you just make sure my drinks are cold at change of ends and my towels are fresh"
This tactic worked perfectly.
Deano and Neale played like Champions. I did notice at the conclusion of play Deano signing autographs ... or was that just the match report card.
Great effort guys to play well on such crappy dodgy horrible courts. They should be banned ..or are we spoilt with ours.

Bolshy Leon refused to do tie break at 1 set all even though we all had played 2 sets in the morning and Nick had one at 5pm. Yuri had to drive Nick back to Albert Park from Caufield for his match and when he came back was suprised to see the guys still in the third set. We eventually won 4-0 (one in a tie breaker and 2 in 3 sets) at 5.50pm. Eat shit Glenhuntly. Nick played 8 sets that day and Yuri, Nil and Deano 7. Well done roosters.
