Men's Penant Results Round 9

We had a good result from the weekend with the team posting a 3 - 1 win in our singles encounter against Greensborough. It was a beautiful day to play at the club and the win (worth 12 points) consolidates our position in the top 4 on the ladder.

Onto Rd 10 this coming weekend. We are back to the doubles format and we playing away this weekend against Eltham.

Team members rostered to play for Rd 10 are Nick (c), Nosti, Alan & Yuri. Suggested pairings are Nick with Yuri and Nosti with Alan.

We are playing Saturday 4th July at 1pm at Eltham TC - the address of the club is Youth Rd, Eltham - Melways Ref: page 21 J4. (It’s in north-east Melbourne, so allow for the travel time).

Eltham Tennis Club has 3 red porous and 4 synthetic grass courts - so we could be playing on either surface.

Eltham are below us on the ladder, but have had some upset wins, so it should be a good Tie.
