The Awards:

Rooster Nick: Best Goody Two Shoes Award

Rooster Nosti and Dennis: The Greek "Come from Behind" Award (a Perpetual Trophy)

Rooster Brian:: Best excuse for being late...ever. 2 hours on Bolte Bridge waiting for tow truck.

Rooster Nils: Best Team Man (for outstanding services retrieving a ball from the proximity of topless Swedish Backpackers). Best Wine labelling as well.

Rooster Alan: Best broken boned performance in a final award.

Rooster Dean: Best Interstate player ever award

Rooster Vic: Most Fertile Coq Award

Rooster Mark: Most Goats loved Award 

Rooster Yuri: Best Captain in the history of Sport ever 


As part of our evolving tradition Rooster Nosti has offered to serve up (sic) peasant Greek food (chicken or lamb -no goat as it offends Rooster Mark) as a Trophy Night Offering from Season 7 onwards. Trophy Night is held the Thursday after our last game (Winter and Summer) and involves a hit up at the club prior. 
Next time we can hit and eat at the same time! Way to go Nosti.

Captaincy:

After 3 seasons Rooster Yuri is making way for Rooster Alan as our fourth Captain.

Congratulations Alan for being the one who didn't step backwards.

As the last President of the Club (in 1926) Alan is a strict disciplinarian with a sadistic disposition. 

All complaints should still go to Rooster Mark however. 

Nick, do you get this?

Winter Comp:

We've made the finals in all previous 6 seasons and without Rooster Dennis, Vic and Deano it will be a challenge to get through next season.

We need some younger talent to step up so if anyone can find competitive players amongst the Club's skewed demographic then point them toward our new skipper.
