Yes the Cocks were back in town with a resounding win at the chookyard on the weekend!! Clean sweep by the team with a straight sets cockfight against the opposition...???? from somewhere south of the Yarra.

Team Number One...Consisting of “Captain Cock” (I was going to say MASSIVE.. but that could be rude) Nick and his trusty assistant “Cockrobin...Neale”. who both played consistent tennis to win the first match 10 - 4 and the second cockfight 10-1.
Team number two....of Nosti and partner “Foghorn Dean”

(uncanny resemblance) playing quality cocky shots to record another straight sets victory of 10-3 and 10-4 respectively.

Great stuff guys. Great win and a perfect day to play tennis. The sun was out all afternoon which was nice. It did cause some concern for the server as the sun never went any higher than the chicken wire It was in our eyes all day from that end of the chookyard. It was so blinding Nic wanted to swap his racket for a white canes.
Old digger ‘Des” from the opposition never missed an overhead into the sun all day. he was amazing!. I said to Nic “Lets not get to cocky with this guy...he hasn’t missed one yet!! We dont want to let me think he’s playing against any ‘softcocks’ so lets play it down the middle.
It worked to perfection.

And the Roosters on the other court did the same and came through with flying colours.

Well done boys.

We did get an minor appearance from “Al-j-Zero”... who stuck his neck in for a brief moment He offered Zero advice Zero tactics
and Zero Roosting But at least he made the effort.
