Killer A.P. We win round 8 v Glenhuntly
Our first (full) win of the season of 8 rounds and 3 washouts.

Thanks to Dean the Mean Tennis Machine for filling in for Vic Bitter and for Al Fresco for filling in for Nick Off next week.
We have Al, Vic, Neale & Dean- a very strong team next week v Parkdale away.
As you can see from the ladder a win would hurt fourth placed Parkdale and strengthen our claim for the finals. A win against fifth placed Glenhuntly was essential. Given that we nearly beat Kooyong without Nick our best team can win the final for sure.
Technically we had a win November 19th v Lakes (see below) as we won more games than our opposition 25-24. We also won the only set played before rain stopped play but it didn't count. So it ended up 2 sets each (a technical draw) but we won on games. Thank you super soppers.
Interesting to note Patterson Lakes and Kooyong played last week. Indeed the Lakes payed on all of 3 washed out days! Sturdy lake folk.
Please be aware that 3 games before the last 3 must be played to be eligible for the finals -Hellēnikos!
Spectators this week were comerades Alan, Mr. Whippy, Zoe, Kev, Michael (prez's poodle) and the odd few that came for the club champs and were sadly disappointed. Thanks all for your support.
