Men's Doubles Round 8 -Wipe out

As was predicted, our Rd 8 clash at home against Kooyong Lawn TC was a wash-out. So we share the points.

Onto Rd 9 this weekend. We are playing away at 1pm on Saturday 4^th December against East Malvern No.2 at their courts – 10 Moira Street, Darling.

Watch the backline call fellas.

The Rd 9 team is Nick, Dean, Alan and Bruce. At this stage Nick will play with Bruce and Dean with Alan.

We are sitting in 5^th place currently, just outside finals contention, so hopefully we can get some points.

Don’t forget too that we have the Club Champs on this weekend (9 players in the Men’s singles and 5 doubles pairs).

Arnie will take note of those club players who are committed to the Bayside competition on Saturday arvo and schedule around this as best he can.

Training in on again this Thursday evening for anyone that can make it.

FYI – this is 2^nd last match before the Xmas holiday break. Rd 10 is at home on Saturday 11^th December against Patterson Lakes TC and then we have a 7 week break until Saturday 5^th February 2011.
