Round 2 v Parkdale Results

 

Well Round 2 went the same way as Round 1 with the lads winning one rubber and losing three.

Yuri and Alan came close winning a tie break from 5-3 down and being 2 set points up with the #2 pair but choked. Christ, it's lonely at the top when you lose.

Parkdale were a much more formidable outfit than the one we beat comfortably in the Semis last year with the return of their #1 gun Perry Kick. He even has a rockstar name unlike their #4 Pete Bott.

Congratulations to Vic and Neale on winning 2 sets and the new captain better win a set soon or one can sense the long knives beeing sharpened. "Et tu Marcus?"

So to Round 3.  We play Black Rock away and we have Nick & Yuri, Nosti and Neale riding with Olga down the Nepean. Practice as usual from 6.30pm. Players playing are required and all are (of course) very welcome.
